How to use this template
Build base case model
Create financial projection using realistic assumptions: revenue growth, margin targets, expense ratios, tax rate, etc.
Develop alternative scenarios
Build downside, upside, and alternative scenarios: recession case, market share loss, faster growth, new product launch, M&A, etc.
Identify key variables
Determine which variables have largest impact on results: revenue growth, pricing, COGS, operating margins, capex, working capital, discount rate.
Test sensitivity
For each key variable, test impact of +/- 10-20% change on operating income, cash flow, and other critical metrics.
Present scenario results
Show financial statements and key metrics for base, upside, and downside scenarios. Highlight sensitivity to specific variables.
